Mutations in Disneyland

In my class Population, I created a google site for my last AP of the quarter. Our Unit 2 was called From/To which was about observing animals in their natural environment and habitat and also observing them in a some-what controlled habitat. We went on an FE to Lincoln Park Zoo to see people doing observations on chimpanzees and gorillas. We met with scientist Steven Ross to discuss what he sees day to day with the group of primates at the primate center. He talked about how the chimps and gorillas get about 1-2 minutes of "screen" time everyday. It's a tablet/TV that's on their wall and it measures their patience and to see if they are able to press the right buttons to get their food. We did math on population and sample population. Our class did a deliverable of observing an animal outside of our home 1 hour for 3 days. Leading up to this AP, we chose a location for our sample population. We could chose between a population of cats or dogs, I chose cats. My location was an abandoned Disneyland attraction and the mutations that would happen to the cats over thousands of years.
