LET BLACK GIRLS HAVE A CHILDHOOD, INNOCENCE SHOULDN'T BE A PRIVILEGE

Welcome to my final Action Project for my civic class, Global Peace. In this class we learned how to approach situations with non-violence using Ghandi's policies. Although I believe differently from a lot of what the class taught, I still learned a lot to use in my activism. Ghandi is not someone I agree with, he used a lot of anti-black rhetoric in his Indian daily newspaper and he didn't like Africans, he was also a pedophile. I believe violence is sometimes a nesseccary evil, another reason why I don't like his teachings. For this project we had to come up with a form of activism to impact where we live. I partnered with my sister, NG , to do this project. We decided to focus on the topic of the Adultification and Hyper-sexualization of black girls.
